Congratulations are in order for Georgia School Superintendent Kathy Cox who won $1 Million on "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?" last night! 

 

Ms. Cox initially took some criticism for appearing on the show, especially in light of the recent news of Clayton County Accreditation troubles.  I personally think people were a little worried that if she didn't do well it would look bad for Georgia.

 

But Ms. Cox, a former school teacher, made Georgia proud!  She became the first person to ever win the $1 Million dollar prize on the show.  And now she is donating the money to Georgia schools.  Now there's someone who cares about Georgia's kids.  Way to go, Kathy Cox!
