Communicating with County Zoning:

To be in the public hearing record, letters of support or opposition must be received in the zoning office by noon on the Wednesday prior to the Planning Commission and Board of Commissioners' public meetings. Materials received in time are placed in the case file as part of the public record. Materials that arrive too late for the Planning Commission Meeting will be added to the public case file before the Board of Commissioners meeting.

Email letters are acceptable.

The County Staff may not routinely copy and distribute copies of all zoning or variance related letters and email received by the Zoning Division to the Planning Commissioners or to the Board of Commissioners. If you want to be sure and address the Commissions you should address your letters and email to the appropriate Commissioners..

Please send a copy to the Zoning Division for the public file.

The public is invited to present their opinions at both public meetings. Additional materials, letters, petitions, etc can also be entered into the official record at the public hearings.

Of course, I will be glad to receive your suggestions at any time.

What would you like to see on WestCobbLife?

You may have noticed that I haven't made any new posts in the last couple of weeks.  I have actually been trying to figure out what direction to go with this site.  As I sat here pondering this very question this morning, my husband said "Why don't you just post the question to the readers and ask what they would like to read about?"  And that's just what I decided to do!

So go ahead and leave a comment, let me know what you would enjoy seeing on WestCobbLife.  Would you like to see personal-interest stories about life in West Cobb?....Community events and happenings?....Articles about local business?....Sales events from local businesses?....more games like the West Cobb Mystery Photo Game?

I've also been considering making the site open to anyone who wants to sign up and post or write articles about things related to living in West Cobb. With contributors from the community, it could be like a "living" newspaper with information that's interesting and relevant for anyone in the West Cobb area.

I want to hear from all of you, what do YOU think?
