My friend, Julie, recently sent me her award winning Oreo Truffle recipe, she won the prize at her neighborhood Christmas cookie party with these truffles....it's a major award!  These are so delicious and very easy to make, so I decided to share the recipe with all of you.  One warning she gave, when you roll the balls in chocolate, don't do it with your fingers....she learned this the hard way, melted chocolate is HOT!
Oreo Truffles

> 1 package of Oreos
> 1 8oz package of cream cheese
> 1 package of chocolate almond bark (I used regular chocolate bark)

Process oreos in food processor. Add in softened cream cheese and blend. Roll into balls and refrigerate. Microwave to melt almond bark. Roll balls in chocolate.  Refrigerate until you are ready to serve. These do keep well at room temperature. For appearance, you can drizzle white chocolate over the balls or add a decoration.

You could also roll the balls in white chocolate and drizzle milk chocolate for a different look.
