I got this list in an email from the Georgia Aquarium and I thought some of the new things looked pretty cool, so I'm passing it along to all of you!

10) Aquatic Masterpiece:  Located on the ceiling of the Aquarium's entrance, this new aquatic mural, the size of a three-bedroom house, was painted by famous Italian artist Silvio Irilli and is truly one-of-a-kind!

9) "Pregnant" Male Weedy Sea Dragon:  One of the male weedy sea dragons is "pregnant"! This is the third time in U.S. aquarium history that a sea dragon has carried eggs, so hurry to the aquarium because the eggs will be hatching near the end of July!

8) Spend the Weekend Downtown at a Discount!:  The Atlanta Marriott Marquis celebrates completion of a $138 million hotel transformation with $138 weekend rate! Pay with Visa and get a $25 Visa gift card. Simply use your Visa card to book the weekend rate. You must stay Friday or Saturday night 7/25 – 8/24. Hurry, rooms are limited.

7) Sleep with the Fish:  Spend the night at the Aquarium and enjoy an exciting night of special activities, tours, a giant scavenger hunt, animal encounters and more.

6) Jazz Journeys:  Relax each Friday night this summer as you listen to live jazz and explore the Aquarium after hours.

5) New Game Show:  Come play “Fish Out of Water,” a new educational game show, occurring daily in the Ocean Voyager Theater!

 4) New Animals:  Newly added alligators, turtles, leopard whiprays and bowmouth guitarfish are thriving in their new home at the Aquarium.

3) Feeding Times:  Watch the animals munch on their favorite snacks at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day.

2) See 22-Foot Long Sharks!:  The female whale sharks have grown seven feet while at Georgia Aquarium and the males have grown four feet! Stop by to admire the largest fish in the world as they continue to grow to their full potential - the length of a school bus!

1) Journey with Gentle Giants:  Journey with Gentle Giants is the only opportunity in the world where you’re guaranteed to swim or dive with the largest fish in the world, the whale shark! Stop by to watch the divers at 4 p.m. everyday swim with these animals.
