I just found out about this luncheon and wanted to pass the information on to all of the UGA fans out there...The Cobb Library Foundation will host former University of Georgia head football coach Vince Dooley for a “Meet the Author” luncheon 11:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 22, at The Georgian Club. Dooley, who also served as the UGA director of athletics, wrote "Dooley's Dawgs". Tickets to the event are $30 and can be purchased online at www.cobbcat.org.
Proceeds from the luncheon are designated to fund the Gail Rogers Honorary Scholarship awarded each year for a deserving Masters of Library Science student employed by the Cobb County Public Library System. The Georgian Club is located at 100 Galleria Parkway, Suite 170, Atlanta.
