Well, she's my baby sister, so I have to brag about her a little bit! The Miss Georgia pageant began in Columbus last night and will be going on through Saturday. Casy is representing Georgia State University and, of course, whoever is crowned Miss Georgia will go on to the Miss America pageant so it is very exciting!Casy has been through so much in the last month since my parent's house burned and all of her clothes and dresses for the pageant were destroyed. However, so many people have been so kind and have stepped up to help her out. Lasting Impressions dress shop in Columbus, Georgia gave her a beautiful evening gown as well as a costume for her dance routine. Georgia State University and the pageant board and many others have been very generous as well in helping her to get prepared for this weekend.
Casy is such a beautiful, sweet girl and I am so proud of her. I just know she is going to do great!
